Rajkumar College, Raipur, is one of the leading Public Schools of the country and the only one in the State of Chhattisgarh. Established in 1882, this is one of the five Chiefs' Colleges along with Mayo College Ajmer, Daly College Indore, Rajkumar College Rajkot and Aitchinson College Lahore, which were established 1860 onwards to educate scions of royal families.

The college is privileged with a sprawling 125 acres campus in the midst of the city. It is one of the few public schools in the country to have such a large campus.

The college has fully equipped 30 bedded hospital with a medical officer and trained nurses living in the campus. Specialist doctors on call and on college retainer.

The college has a big Dining Hall namely, Sarangarh Dining Hall which was inaugurated by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the then President of India, where over 600 students can be served meals at a time. The boarders have their meals in the mess together. It provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, cooked in separate kitchens.

Rajkumar College Boarding House, is a beautiful state of the art boarding house which is the student's second home where everyone is incredibly friendly and caring.
